Hollon HDS-1000C Data Media Safe with Dial Combination Lock

The Hollon HDS-1000C Data & Media Safe with dial combination lock can help to protect data & media such as hard drives, CD's, DVD's, USB thumb-drives, photographs and more. Although many important documents are now kept in digital format, these items plus valuable documents require protection. An insurance policy isn't going to enable you to replace these assets, so a data safe is essential to provide the appropriate protection.

Paper will combust at temperatures greater than 177°C (350° Fahrenheit), but the data on storage media such as CDs, VHS and backup tapes is far more vulnerable to heat. It can be corrupted or destroyed when the temperature rises above 52°C (125° Fahrenheit). In order to protect this type of sensitive material from a fire, the HDS-1000C data safe is specifically designed to protect magnetic media with a one hour fire protection.

The Hollon HDS-1000C Data Safe features a KIS Data/Media fire test of 1832 degrees F on the outside and 125 degrees F on the interior for one hour. This means the inside temperature never exceeded 125 degrees F. It has two removable shelves and an S&G Dial Combination Lock. The taller height of the safe allows for plenty of room to store your media and documents.

  • Starting January 2015 Hollon Safe warranties all parts and labor, including all Hollon digital components, on all safes purchased for period of 1 year from date of purchase against manufacture defects. We provide a 2-year warranty on all replacement parts. Extended warranty includes Hollon digital components. Other brand digital components, electronic keypads, will only be warranted for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. Only digital components that are factory installed or installed by a Hollon Safe technician prior to shipment will be covered under this 1 year warranty.
